Crisis and After Hours:
We do not offer after-hours support, or assistance for clients in crisis. Clients who are actively in crisis require a higher level of care than we can provide.
In an emergency please do not hesitate to call 911, or go to your nearest hospital’s Emergency Department immediately.
Youth and their families
The adult guardians of our clients, be they biological or foster parent, stepparent, or other relative, are encouraged to be a part of their teen’s care.
Erika regularly schedules monthly one-on-one sessions with parents to discuss adolescent cognitive and social-emotional development, answer questions about your teen’s care, discuss any concerns you may have, and get updates on treatment goals.
These clinician-parent sessions are informative in nature, do not include the client, and are virtual/telehealth appointments.
Correspondence:
As email is not HIPAA compliant, the confidentiality of Personal Health Information (PHI) cannot be guaranteed. Correspondence via email is limited to reminders of upcoming appointments (date/time), or emergency cancellations.
Payments:
We use TherapyNotes’ Client Portal to process payments. Payments are due at the beginning of the session and we require clients to have a card on file.
Current clients may not make appointments by phone or via the Client Portal if they have an unpaid balance.
Our cancellation policy:
Consistency brings progress, yet we are mindful that life can sometimes get in the way of treatment. And, unfortunately, emergencies happen.
Please notify us 24 hours before your appointment time if you need to cancel.
Appointments cancelled (non-emergency), less than 24 hours before appointment time or no-shows will be charged a Late Cancellation Fee up to $125.**
